\ud835\udc03\ud835\udc2b. \ud835\udc0e\ud835\udc26\ud835\udc1b\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1a \ud835\udc08\ud835\udc26\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc26, from Sultan Kudarat, shared his insights on blending Peace Education with the Madrasa Curriculum. He co-founded the Ibn Taimiyah Foundation Academy, Inc., and plays a pivotal role in the National Association of Bangsamoro Education, Inc. (NABEI). Since 2016, he\u2019s been a committed educator at Cotabato State University, currently serving as Professor V and directing the university\u2019s Peace and Development Center to advance peace and development initiatives.<\/p>\n

In observance of Peace Consciousness Month 2023, the Al Qalam Institute of Ateneo de Davao University (AQI), in collaboration with Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), is proud to host a two-day conference. This event highlights discussions on Peace Research (Day 1) and Peace Education Interventions (Day 2), featuring the valuable contributions of local and international researchers, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations working towards sustainable peace and development in Mindanao.<\/p>\n
This hybrid conference forms an integral part of the KEEP Peace Project: Empowering Mindanao Youth through Formation, Instruction, Research, and Engagement, undertaken by the Al Qalam Institute with the generous support of the GIZ \u2013 Civil Peace Service (GIZ-CPS).<\/p>\n
The conference has drawn participants from various academic backgrounds, including administrators, faculty, and students from Senior High School, College, and Graduate Schools, both from state and private institutions. Additionally, it has brought together officials and volunteers representing non-governmental and people\u2019s organizations dedicated to fostering peace in Mindanao.<\/p>\n
The SALAAMindanao Conference is an initiative of the Al Qalam Institute of the Ateneo de Davao University in partnership with the Central Mindanao Colleges-Official (CMC) and as a component of the KEEP Peace Project funded by the GIZ-Civil Peace Service (CPS).<\/p>\n
