As an academic function, research is one of the major source of knowledge and innovation. As such, it shall generally support and enhance both instruction and extension services in the institution.<br \/>\nAs an Institutional Research Agenda, research shall be given primary focus and importance in all programs in order to train faculty and students to conduct independent studies. It is anchored in three Strategic Thrusts:<\/p>\n<h6>First<\/h6>\n<p>, Research alignment and conformance to the Commission on Higher Education priorities on NHERA 2.<\/p>\n<h6>Second<\/h6>\n<p>, Research focus on:<br \/>\n\u2022 Effectiveness<br \/>\n\u2022 Efficiency<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellence<br \/>\n\u2022 Recovery<\/p>\n<h6>And Lastly<\/h6>\n<p>, Research contributions on:<br \/>\n\u2022 Institutional Quality Improvement<br \/>\n\u2022 Continuous Process Improvement<br \/>\n\u2022 Institutional Cutting Edge Initiatives<\/p>\n<p>The Research and Development initiatives of the Academic and the Non-academic areas prioritizes the following discipline:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Curriculum development or improvement<br \/>\n\u2022 Teaching-Learning process<br \/>\n\u2022 Health and Wellness<br \/>\n\u2022 Student and Faculty Performance and Evaluation<br \/>\n\u2022 Student population or enrollment<br \/>\n\u2022 Peace and Development<br \/>\n\u2022 Business Management and Marketing<br \/>\n\u2022 Gender Issues and other Social Researches<br \/>\n\u2022 Environmental promotion and conservation<br \/>\n\u2022 Policy oriented researches<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Research and Publications Embracing a culture of research, CMC understands the importance and justification that the conduct of research, rests on the fact that research generally precedes development.
