CMC-SHS curriculum\u00a0<\/span><span>responds to 21st-century learning skills and centers on value formation aligned to its\u00a0<\/span><span>institution\u2019s core values. The difference between the STEM curriculum with the other\u00a0<\/span><span>strands and tracks is the focus on advanced concepts and topics.\u00a0<\/span><span>Under the track, you can become a pilot, an architect, an astrophysicist, a biologist, a\u00a0<\/span><span>chemist, an engineer, a dentist, a nutritionist, a nurse, a doctor, and a lot more.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT STRAND (ABM)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand would focus on the basic\u00a0<\/span><span>concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations,\u00a0<\/span><span>integration of information technology concepts into business systems to create a more\u00a0<\/span><span>systematic and organized way of storing business-related data. Aside from these business\u00a0<\/span><span>topics, it also equips students with a basic understanding of auditing systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>ABM can also lead you to careers in management and accounting, which could be a\u00a0<\/span><span>sales manager, human resources, marketing director, project officer, bookkeeper,\u00a0<\/span><span>accounting clerk, internal auditor, and a lot more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES STRAND (HUMSS)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The HUMMS strand is designed for those who wonder what is on the other side of the wall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In other words, you are ready to take on the world and talk to many people. This strand\u00a0<\/span><span>is for students considering taking up journalism, communication arts, liberal arts,\u00a0<\/span><span>education, and other social science-related courses in college.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If you take this strand, you could be looking forward to becoming a teacher, a\u00a0<\/span><span>psychologist, a lawyer, a writer, a social worker, or a reporter someday. This strand focuses\u00a0<\/span><span>on improving your communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><b>TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL-LIVELIHOOD (TVL) TRACK<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This track also invests primarily in skills that can gain you requisite COCs (Certificates of\u00a0<\/span><span>Competency) and NCs (National Certifications), which would be essential when looking\u00a0<\/span><span>for better career opportunities in agriculture, electronics, and trade.
